The Way Home: A Newly Released Book by David Santangelo

Weaving rich personal stories into the ageless, timeless voice of truth, Sufi-trained healer and coach David Santangelo cautions against inaction during this collective spiritual crisis, suggesting instead that we rise to the occasion and listen to the internal wisdom he calls home. Part autobiography, part universal doctrine, The Way Home uses the structure of the Hopi poem, “We Are the Ones We’ve Been Waiting For,” to convey the need for authenticity and fearlessness in every action.

David Santangelo is a teacher, author and speaker who serves as a guide and fellow traveler in the fields of mysticism and personal development.  He has recently published a book entitled The Way Home that is part memoir, part channeled text that calls its readers to leave complacency behind and live from their truth. A compassionate and articulate voice about the current shift in human consciousness, David is touring the Unites States with a speaking program based upon the book’s life teachings. David also performs Music for the Soul, a two-hour experiential journey that marries the text's sacred and inspired words with chanting, meditation and live music performed by violinist Julie Southwell and percussionist Lucius Wheeler.

David has studied the healing arts and the path of Sufism at the Jaffe Institute, and has spent many hours sitting with Shaykh Sidi al-Jamalar-Rifa'i, the Guide of the Shadhdhuliyyah Sufi Path that was founded in the 13th century.  He has worked in many capacities, as a journalist, day laborer, cafe owner sales person, and life coach. He is deeply committed to expressing the truths he’s received through his writing, speaking and teaching modalities. Currently David makes his home in Bend, Oregon, with his wife and two children.
